Typography Print Design

Overview

You will be creating a custom typography based design that will allow you to explore creating your own font. You can freestyle your own font or you can modify a current typeface. The final design needs to be short and sweet to allow it to fit on the physical product. Think about a slogan, saying or quote that you could create. Feel free to create vector images as well, but the type should be the most important element of the design. You will have the option of either creating a shirt design, button or stickers.

Objective - What is the problem I need to solve?

  • How will I create a custom font and what tools will I use?

  • How will the font speak to my design concept?

Project Requirements

  • Custom font created - you can modify a real font

  • Final design mocked up as a shirt, button or sticker that will then be physically created.
