Overview
You will be creating a menu design for a restaurant of your choice. A strong consideration of columns and margins need to be shown in order to showcase your layout skills. You will also be setting up paragraph styles for this project. The design will be a folded menu with a front and back cover.

Project Requirements

Two Spreads - 4 pages

A creative cover and back to your menu is created showcasing your Photoshop or Illustrator skills. Do not just use a stock photo or image.

Menu Items with Prices

Character styles are used.

Correct grammar and spelling is used throughout the entire design. Use spell check!

Step 1: Brainstorming Steps

Create a new folder inside your Final folder and name it “Menu”.

Create a new Google Doc inside your project folder and copy and paste the Menu Creative Brief into this new doc.

Fill out the top of the Creative Brief and title it by clicking on Untitled Document.

Complete the Creative Brief brainstorming steps.
Step 2: Project Steps

Create a new file - 8.5x11 inches, 4 pages, check the facing pages box

Change Start # to 2

Set your margins and columns to apply to your design. Consider the layout that your brainstorming uses.

Page 2=Front Cover
Page 3-4=Inside
Step 3: Turn In Directions
1. Save your InDesign file as “lastName_Menu”.
2. Export your file as a JPG by going to File>Export and changing the format to JPG.
